For Midwives

Everything you need to know before joining the Healthlink Recruitment family.

We’ll review the documentation you’ve provided, then reach out via email to arrange
an online interview and see if we’re the right fit for each other.

You’ll need current AHPRA registration as a midwife dual registration is fine too.
Healthlink Recruitment specialises exclusively in midwifery placements.

It largely comes down to how quickly you return the onboarding package we send
after reviewing your resume. Requirements for verifying documentation,
registrations, and certifications vary by state. We know onboarding can feel repetitive
and time-consuming, and we’re here to support you through it. We’re also currently
integrating a dedicated onboarding platform that will significantly cut down the time
this takes accessible from anywhere.
 

Pay depends on where you’re placed metropolitan, regional, rural or remote with more remote locations generally attracting a higher hourly rate. As with any organisation, pay also varies by grade or level (e.g. Registered Midwife, Clinical Midwife, Maternity Unit Manager). Rates follow a government tiered system and vary by state.
